Cindy Campbell Stone will be hosting two talks in the coming week. These talks will center on the life of Catherine Gallagher, the wife of the Lighthouse Keeper at Chebucto Head during World War II. Cathrine resided there with her husband and children from 1928-1950. She was one of the primary informants in Helen's local folklore collecting.
Cindy will be focusing on the life of Mrs. Gallagher through, story, song and a few photographs.
The first of Cindy's talks will take place on Friday the 30th from 12pm-1pm at the Halifax Public Library. The second wilk take place on the 3rd at 7:30pm in the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.
