On February 18th at 7:30pm the curator of the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic will be hosting a public talk about a newly acquired artifact: the chronometer of the Lynnwood, a ship out of Windsor which was wrecked in 1896. The talk will focus on both the Lynnwood and the artifact itself, providing a context for the instruments role in 19th century navigation.
Anyone interested can find more information on the Maritimes Museums facebook page.
