On Tuesday January 21st at 7:30-8:30p the Martime Museum of the Atlantic will be hosting another lecture, this time entitled "Civil Rights on the High Seas: The National Maritime Union and US Racial Politics in the Global Arena from World War II to the Coldwar." The lecture will be presented by John Munro and will focus on the history of the NMU and its role in pushing for racial equality.
Admission is free, but donation to Feed Nova Scotia are encouraged in place of this.
