A Future for the Past? The Role of Public Archaeology
On March 20th the Nova Scotia Archaeology Society will be hosting a lecture on the future of the public archaeology. The lecture will briefly discuss the history of the field as well as recent discussions on the subject, the definitions of the field and the challenges that it faces today. It will close with a brief case study of public archaeology in the 21st century. The lecture will be presented by Tim Schadla-Hall, a world renowned archaeologist. It will take place at 7:00pm at the Scotiabank Theatre of the Sobey Building at Saint Mary's University. More information can be found here.
